You may have heard that Licence to Ceilidh are now offering a set of cover songs in addition to our usual epic ceilidh set!
After realising that we have a fantastic singer at our disposal we thought it would be a really exciting addition to offer this. We’ve did a few rehearsals before the filming to really nail down the material and it was such great fun to play!
Licence to Ceilidh were doing yet another TV appearance, this time on ITV’s Loose Women on Monday 15th February 2016! We also had a little bit of air time on the This Morning show before Loose Women.
Last month we were invited to play for a beautiful wedding abroad in Malta! It the first overseas trip we’ve done with for a little while (since our visit to Dubai in 2012) and it was so much fun!
Have you seen the new project we’ve been working on in collaboration with Ceilidh Club
Kelta Fit – Fitness from Scotland, a new dance based exercise DVD based on ceilidh moves and with an original sound track from yours truly Licence to Ceilidh!
We’ve been busy in the studio recording the soundtrack to an exciting new exercise DVD based on Scottish Ceilidh! Here’s a preview of some of the music, recorded at Black Wookie Studios. The Soundtrack is available now on iTunes, and the DVD is available now at www.keltafit.com
We had a busy couple weeks of Burns Night bookings across the end of January and early February. We’ve just about recovered from the excess of haggis we ate during that time! Here are some photos of some of the evenings…
In November 2012 we were asked to perform for the second time for Amnesty International UK’s annual student conference. Yet again it was a great evening, at the fabulous Circus Space in Hoxton, London. …and we had our very own Nik Carter multitalented drummer/photographer/videographer film the event.
We recently got some some great stuff from the guys @ Eat Haggis, they do an amazing range of products for the Scotsman in your life. Check their website: www.eathaggis.com
