Licence to Ceilidh recently appeared in both Vogue and Tatler magazine after playing for the MyTheresa and Christopher Kane parties back in December.
We were booked to play at the party at the famous Lanesborough Hotel in Hyde Park, London and the guests list included some famous faces like Laura Carmichael from Downton Abbey (who was very good a ceilidh dancing!) and Dougie Poynter from McFly, as well as many other big names from the fashion world.
Back in July Licence to Ceilidh also did a cheeky bit of acoustic music on ITV’s TOWIE (The Only Way Is Essex). It’s was only a very short clip of us but we got a nice photos out of it and it was a fun Sunday afternoon out!

As well as a Scottish Ceilidh the couple also had our Jazz Trio play for their drinks reception, our dinner pianist and a disco after the ceilidh. Here is a lovely testimonial from them:
Look what the lovely Bride & Groom gave us at the end of the evening on Thursday: a Licence to Ceilidh goodie bag with a beautifully written thank you card and we each got a coaster with the date of the wedding on!
We had a busy couple weeks of Burns Night bookings across the end of January and early February. We’ve just about recovered from the excess of haggis we ate during that time! Here are some photos of some of the evenings…
