Licence to Ceilidh en Vogue!

Licence to Ceilidh recently appeared in both Vogue and Tatler magazine after playing for the MyTheresa and Christopher Kane parties back in December.

We were booked to play at the party at the famous Lanesborough Hotel in Hyde Park, London and the guests list included some famous faces like Laura Carmichael from Downton Abbey (who was very good a ceilidh dancing!) and Dougie Poynter from McFly, as well as many other big names from the fashion world.

In our line of work as musicians we get to see and sample wedding cakes on a weekly basis, you might say that we are experts on the subject! From the traditional style fruit cake, to tiers of cheese and pork pie, quirky designs and elegant creations, we’ve seen it all! The good, the bad, those that made the mistake of putting sponge as the bottom tier and fruit cake on the top (the cake had collapsed in on itself before the evening reception had started)!
