Your “iPod" Disco

Hire of our top of the range sound system & lights for your device with playlist after the ceilidh.

This can be any device, we have a lead which plugs into the headphone socket plus USB-C / Lightning adaptors which covers all bases for Phone / Tablet / Laptop etc. We plug in your playlist and just leave it going - however we do offer to cue up & announce a final song of the night at the right time if you would like.

We also recommend looking into the Spotify and similar AI discos, there’s some great ones out there now to mix the tracks on your playlist.

DJ Disco

A member of the band brings and mans the music for you!

You can send us a full playlist of requests for the DJ to order and mix on the night, or just a smaller choice and they’ll use their experience to fill in the gaps with tunes they know always work great and suitable guest requests on the night too! They mix the tracks one to another, trimming long intros and outros where appropriate and they’ll keep an eye on the dance floor to see what’s going down well and change the genre or tempo up as needed. They can also bring, play and announce your first dance at the top of the night too.

We don’t bring a DJ booth, we use a clothed table and the same top of the range speakers and equipment as used for the ceilidh. The benefit of this means there is zero changeover time between the last ceilidh tune being played and the first track of the disco starting. It also means no additional set-up space is needed at the venue. However, you may be after something a bit less low key and the visual of a DJ booth. While our DJ musicians have years of experience and we do mix the tracks, it’s important to just remember we’re used to doing wedding discos and catering for a mix of ages, we’re not nightclub DJ’s.
