Daytime Music

SOLO MUSICIANS

Highland Piper – If you want to feel like you’re back in the Highlands then why not book our Scottish piper in full Highland Dress to greet your guests upon their arrival, play as your walk down the isle or pipe you into your wedding breakfast. Equally as suited to playing for the entrance to your meal or guests arrival at your corporat event, he can also perform the traditional Address to the Haggis for any Burns Night events or St. Andrews nights.

Jazz Dinner Pianist – our highly popular jazz pianist is the perfect accompaniment to your wedding breakfast or corporate drinks reception. His repertoire includes many Frank Sinatra / Michael Buble classics and well known Jazz standard like Autumn Leaves, Girl from Impanina and Fly me to the Moon

Solo Flute – our flautist can play either classical repertoire on the silver flute or traditional pieces on the wooden flute.

Solo Fiddle / Violin – another popular option our violinist can either play classical pieces for your ceremony or drinks reception or traditional jigs, reels and waltz’s!

DUO’S

Celtic Fiddle and Guitar – as our most popular option our Celtic Duo is great for background music before your ceilidh, giving your guests a taste of the action to come! An ideal option for a ceremony, drinks reception or meal. They play a mixture of slow tunes including traditional waltz’s and slow airs with some upbeat jigs and reels too!

Jazz Piano and Bass Duo – if you’re after something more than a solo pianist but less than the trio, our smallest Jazz ensemble is just a piano and double bass duo. They play a similar repertoire to our solo jazz pianist and the tunes are also piano lead but with double bass accompaniment. They perform everyone’s favourite jazz standards, contemporary pop and show tunes for your drinks reception or wedding breakfast.

TRIO’S

Jazz Trio (Piano, Double Bass and Light Drums) – a jazz trio is a very classy option, it’s also piano lead but includes some light jazz style drums. Perfect for a drinks reception with canapés.

Celtic Trio – we can provide a few options for our celtic trio starting with Fiddle and Guitar you can either add a 2nd fiddle player for traditional harmonies, a flute player or bodhran drum. All celtic options can be done acoustically or with a small battery powered amp.

QUARTET’S

Classical Quartet the line-up for our classical quartet is Flute, Violin, Viola and Cello. As one of our most popular options for pre-ceilidh music our quartet plays a mixture of Classical pieces as well as quartet arrangements of modern pop songs including Can’t Stop This Feeling (Justin Timberlake), Dancing Queen (Abba) and A Thousand Years (the theme from Twilight). They can perform for your ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast (or a combination of two)!

Jazz Quartet – our most popular jazz option is similar to the trio but with the addition of Jazz Flute! As our musicians are so multi-talented most of the jazz quartet members will also be member of the evening ceilidh band later on, helping to keep costs down for you and meaning you only have to liaise with one group of musicians.

“Hi Ali, We had such an amazing time on Friday and couldn’t have asked for anything more; the Ceilidh was awesome and our guests all loved it. It was all simply perfect 🙂 All the best and thank you and your group for being part of our fantastic day,”
