South of France Destination Wedding

These pictures were from a beautiful destination wedding we played near Nice in the South of France back in June last year, for the lovely couple Cherry and Thomas. The venue was Domaine des Bruguieres, the had an amazing outdoor ceremony, drinks on the lawn and we played a Ceilidh for them after dinner!

We went as a 4-piece band for this one with Bodhran drum, which is a really easy way to travel and means no drum kit needs to be hired and it’s still a really great sound with lots of rhythm to dance to!

It’s always really lovely playing for wedding’s abroad, so much fun to do the band trips together and we always make the most of it. It’s also nice to get to play outside under the stars and do open air ceilidh’s as well, as we don’t get much opportunity for that in the UK!
