This summer we were asked to perform for another beautiful Wedding in Malta, this time on the island of Gozo!
We performed for a Wedding in Malta for the first time back in June 2015, we then did a week long residency at a Jazz Bar in Malta in October 2016, then were back for another Wedding in June 2017!

It’s such a beautiful place to play and the wedding’s we’ve done there have always been great fun and an amazing atmosphere. There’s something really wonderful about playing and dancing outside under the stars on a hot summers evening in Europe!

To make the most of the trip we flew out on the morning before the Wedding and back in the evening the next day so we really had chance to look around and do a bit of sight seeing and well as prepare and set-up for the gig. It made it very relaxed.

The wedding was on a Monday evening which meant that we were able to give this lovely couple an even bigger discount for it being a midweek date and we provided a 4-piece band: Caller, Fiddle, Guitar and Drum Kit which works really well.

Their guests all got involved and the Bride and Groom were so lovely and invited us to stay for a drink after we played. It was a really great experience and was such a privilege to be asked to play there and to have the opportunity to go back to Malta with the band for a 3rd time!
A lovely band dinner!
Gozo was a really beautiful island as well, we has chance to be tourists and visit the Citadel as well as have some lovely dinners by the water. On the day we left we also took a trip to Paradise Bay on our way home, which was our favourite beach from our first trip over!! Ahhh, memories!
